1v1 Tournament!!! (Sc2forums.org "Aries")

Ok Guys, I had this idea of make tourneys in a zodiac theme. They'r not all gonna be the same (maybe later we get some UMS tourneys or 2v2 melee) and they might not even make it to 12, but I just wanted a name for the tourney

So this first one is gonna be a 1v1 tourney, best out of 3!

Maps: They are all gonna be ICCUP Maps, no obs Replay HAS to be saved in order for the match to count!!

1st match
Destination (2 players)
Bluestorm (2 players)

2nd Match
Andromeda (4 players)
Python (4 players)

3rd Match
Longinus (3 players)

Players: Each and everyone of you is invited. You'r gonna have to have a set race tho (no random), so to apply, this is what you'r gonna do:

Brackets: Check em out after we have enough participants.

Rules:
Once again, every match HAS to have it's replay. If you are forgetful, download ChaosLauncher and activate the autoreplay feature.
Of course no hacking at all.
You should pick one race and you'll have to stick with it for the whole tourney.
Before starting playing, the contestants will have to choose one of the allowed maps. If they cant get to an agreement, in the brackets will be posted who choses first and who choses second.

Prices:
1st Place: 3000 minerals and some custom trophy!
2nd Place: 2000 minerals
3rd Place: 1000 minerals.

I'm playing, Protoss... Why must Longinus be reserved for a tie-breaker match? You should add it to the first-match choices.

The less choices available, the less discusion
Plus, Longinus is a good ballanced map that should be good for everyone, that's why tie breaker.
And it also has 3 spawn locs, instead of 2 and 4, which makes him different from the other 2 choices

If it's good and balanced, why don't we just make it the ONLY map?

When are the actual games going to take place? I'm going to guess the two out of three, maybe three out of three if you each get one win, games go one right after the other, right?

 

Yeah, what I had in mind was something like this.
Deadline comes, then the first round will begin.
I'll send some (forum) mail to everyone on the toruney saying who are you gonna face and what time you have to do it.
I'll give somewhere between 4 days and 1 week for the 8 first matches to go ahead and, get done. So in that time you can do it whenever you like. I would reccomend do the matches in a row, just because it's easier, but that's up to you.

In case you guys dont match, you'r both disqualified. If you dont complete the best out of 3 (as in doing 1 match, or 2 but tied) it can happen one of 2 things: Even one of you says, it was my fault, or you'r both disqualified.
