I've tried to get the 7 insane AI archievement.

Of course a normal battle is not an option since the AI have bonus resources and a permanent map hack.
So I watched these videos using protoss vs 7 insane zergs.
Only buidling cannons and massing carriers.
I tried it offline first single player AI and it worked indeed (but no archievement since this must be in multiplayer)

In the video the AI army just leaves when my base is full of cannons and the hydra's are killed.
Online however the AI keeps pressing on with it's roach/hydra army.
Still no big deal since the upgraded carriers can take these out without too much trouble.
But then it starts sending masses of corruptors, with very little time between waves, so after the third wave it's game over.

Why is the IA sending corruptors all of a sudden , I think the battlenet AI has been adjusted to the point that it''s no longer possible to beat it, the method on the video is using a flaw in the AI to beat it, but it's quite clear this flaw is fixed now.
You simply cannot win from a system with perfect macro, map hack (so it know exactly what to build to counter you units) and 40% extra resources.

    Addition:

tried the mass VR on the Abyss map as well, also failed AI keeps sending muta's.
So Insane AI really is insane.

I used Terran, much easier bro. What I did was play on the 8 player map...uh... Hm... Just watch these two videos. I did notice though that the difference between my game and his was that they did send wave after wave of corruptors. What I did though was mass turrets where all of them were coming because the AI isn't smart enough to go around them so they go straight through. Eventually they will stop trying to drop hydras and crap and just send mass corruptors for the most part and if you leave your BCs just far enough away they will keep running through the same spot and getting raped by mass turrets. And by mass I mean mass...like 30 or so right there. lol

    Finally succeeded
I found another method on a website (don't remember)

I used Terran and the 7 AI were Protoss. (lava map)
I lifted off the CC and moved to the Island to the North, (this Island has 2 mineral lines)

Quickly build base and start massing BC (+ upgrades) until supply cap.
and build Turrets on almost every free spot on this Island.

Then build a new CC on gold mineral field just south of Island guarded by a few BC's to get a lot of excess minerals + gas.
The rest was easy. (and every lost BC can be replaced directly because of the excess resources)

I used Protoss on Megaton. I cannon rushed everyone on my fortress and left the other fortress kill themselves. By the time they finished, the last remaining comp was battered out allowing me to steamroll it with my 4 expos semi-massive army.
