Must you make a thread about this!
Anyway the events of that day are hard to put into a model as many theoires exist on how both towers fell some of which involve a conspiracy.

Edit: Oh yes i remember, i was infact in a hospital in toronto on that day, only in grade 2 and i had just finished recovery from a minor operation, i was far to young to understand and i only figured out what really happened afew years latter.

I was in my 9th grade Geometry class. Watched the news a bit and was let out of school early. My younger brothers were too young to understand what was happening, and were just excited to be off of school the next day. Thankfully I did not know anybody directly involved, but I was pretty worried as my dad occasionally works near the Pentagon.

I was in my 8th grade Algebra class and was pretty sure my cousin was in a building.

Turned out he wasn't. But we didn't get any school off... Your school zones suck, they let the Terrorists win!

9/11/01 is a sad day. It's definitely living up to its potential as a day that will "Live in Infamy." Let's just remember that the next time we think we're safe from fanatics half a world away.

    Victory in Iraq.

I was on a shool trip in London. We heard it from another group, at first it was "2 Planes crashed into skyscrapers".
Surprisingly we managed to get a special edition of a German Newspaper on the very same Day.

This is this generation's Pearl Harbor. I'm not saying it'll lead into WWIII (Though I think it will), just the horrendous loss of life.

Oh, and no one badmouths anyone, or I swear to God I will get a mod to lock this topic and I will try to get a temp ban for any unsavoury comments. This is a day of mourning, not of anger.

School... I think I was in 3rd or 4th grade... first day of school for me cuz i was on a trip up till 10th or so... Anyways, I just saw the news, and I thought "That's tough..." Next day, I go to school and learn my best friend's uncle was in the building... Luckily, he got out alive, but just thinking about how many people died...

Maybe it was conspiracy, maybe not...
Can't hope for victory in Irak or any other place, because sometimes it's just not right...
Maybe the world will finally achieve peace one day..
Till then we just have to live through our humanity =/

    Humanity.... yes Humanity.....
    We are an interesting species....
We have free will and we can choice, we can kill or we can protect. We can hate or we can love.
Humanity is ever trying to bring everlasting peace to our world. But i feel that many if not all our atempts are ultimatly futile, violence has always been with us and always will be....
However my hope is that prehapes in the future our decendents will learn form our mistakes and see make the correct choice, we are currently at an unstable time in our history, humanity needs to start to make currect choices. As in the end our choices make us.

I was sleeping in school. I was in fourth grade and I didn't really understand what happened until a few years later.

Oh yes the conspricy theories i have found many of them.... interesting.....
Some sorta make sense while others are so bizzare that they go beyond the realm of conspricies and into the realm of the strange. one of them even states that planes did not even hit the towers and instead all the pictures and news clips are CGI.... OK THEN....
There are afew that indeed in some way make sense however.

You're welcome to make your own topic, or revive Paragon's thread. But this thread is not for a debate.

I live in California, so I just got up and my parents are watching the news. They normally don't watch the news so early in the morning, so I had a feeling that this was bad. I didn't get the full meaning of this until after half an hour, I was so shocked. My friend's cousin's fiance (hang with me here) happened to be in New York at the time, although quite far from the Twin Towers. I didn't really know him that well, so I didn't really think of him the first time I heard of the bombing. It sucks how a small group of people do something really dumb and the whole group they belong to get the blame.

Ok im sorry and i know this is not for debate, but plz KICK BUSH OUT!!! sorry if i offended anyone. and two, why did we go to iraq again, i dont know i must of forgoten since som much stuff has been made up to excuse the truth... any way i was at school when it happend and we were almost going to leave it. The principle decided to keep it open though. If someone would like to moveit i wouldnt mind arguing this over. When i got home from school, my mom was watching all the footage of the attacks, and i just sat down and watched them. I think i remember that day the most except for when they were bombing baghdad. that was also quite interesting.

My dear fellow, that's exactly how I feel. We need to rise above it, rise above everything. Violence, hatred, destruction, none of these help anything. I don't wanna sound like a hippie, but seriously....What is it in human nature where we can't just chill and all help each other instead of ourselves?

Trooper, no offense to you cuz you seem like a guy that I'd like, but can you stop with the anti-Bush stuff...anti-Bush ppl can be just as annoying as pro-Bush ppl. Again, no offense to you, just a little annoyance I have in general.

Anyway, I was in 4th grade, and I woke up and turned on the news (yes...i watched the news when I was in 4th grade) and I saw this. I was still somewhat young, so i didn't get the significance of this and wanted to watch something else. It wasn't until like half an hour later that I found how big this really was. It kinda makes me feel a bit off sometimes that I didn't get it right away...but oh well.

Well Praetor Fenix...we could chill if we wanted to, but in reality we'd just get bored and restless.
