    okay so i really dont know how this thing with abilities works...
    but how do you make the probe so it has an ability to make ForceField?
    and also i accidently removed the probes ability to make a pylon in the editor.. but i cant get that ability back!!! D:
    it seems pretty complicated so it would be nice if you had a video about it xD

    Skip to the bottom paragraph if you don't want to read some basic general information on abilities.

    Alright. Abilities. There are a few key parts to an ability:
    -The Ability
    -The Effect
    -The Button
    -The Behaviour (if any)

    Generally, the unit links to the ability and the button which links to the ability again which links to the effect which links to the behaviour. Basically, you have a unit. You give it a button in its command card and an ability in its ability list. You set the button command to the ability you want. You then edit the ability to have the desired effect(s). Lastly, if there are any behaviours you want the ability to set, you have to edit the effects to contain those behaviours.

    For your example, all you have to do is edit the Probe's abilities and give it the Sentry's forcefield ability, edit the Probe's command card and give it the desired button, and link the button up to the Sentry's forcefield ability. For your pylon issue, check if the pylon button is still in the command card, and that it still links to the build pylon command (which is a part of the protoss basic build ability).

    okay thanks!
    after what i've read (i've only read the bottom paragraph untill now) then it seems pretty simple ^^
    but the command card... thats where all the actions/buttons are like "attack" "gather" "move" "warp in structure" right?
    but i dont know much about how you "link" buttons to abilities.... but i might try it right away and see if i can figure it out while im waiting for you to answer again

    oh and i had allready firgured out how to get the pylon button back on the command card but when i tested it yesterday (when it didn't work) the button didn't show up when i was about to build the pylon...xD
    i guess i had to link it to an ability then ^^

    edit: okay i found out what the command card is and im not surprised at all xD

    So did you figure out linking buttons and abilities in the command card?

    So why did you need a probe that made force fields?

    oh i was making a survival map and i think the probe should be able to force field the zerglings so they cannot catch the probe ^^

    well... i kinda left the map on its own cause i ran out of ideas.. but then a few weeks ago i made a new survival map that is way more awesome! and yes the probe has (Snipe - Psy Storm - Force Field - Blink)
    and it might possibly get Cloak aswell for a very short time!
    my friend did indeed suggest that we should make the probe able to launch nukes at the zerglings but y'know that wont be a good idea.... xD
    the maps are actually pretty similar except in the new map the probe cant make cannons or pylons and it has a lot of awesome abilities AND it has 100 health + 100 shield wich is quite alot
    but the zerg also has mutas after you ^^

    the the whole map is all about running as fast as you can while dodging all the zerglings and sniping the mutalisks xD

    yeah pretty much... ^^
    but it probably needs some polishing and stuff
    theres no help or anything when the game starts.. so you just jump right into it and then you just have to run with your probe.... but i might need to make some help or something cause its pretty confusing and frustrating when you just start and suddenly you get swarmed by zerglings and some mutas xD
    but thats of course only if you dont know the map very well.. i have none of these problems cause i know the map well (obviously)
