we know that becoming a elite sc2 player is not easy. so is there a fast way to become a Starcraft 2 elite.
I'd say the fastest way would be to play 1v1 only random, and watch every one of your replays. When you're tired of playing, watch shoutcasts on Youtube or something.
+1 but ya, random would be nice, and watching the replays like people have said. I've found that watching some Pro replays have really helped me.
A lot of practice will make you good at anything. - I watch every single 1v1 replay that I played right after the match. See if there was anything better that I could of done to improve my game, even if I did win it. Because when your watching yourself play at a spectator point of view, you can point out a lot that's going wrong and adjust it. So this is really important. - Watch Pro Replays - Commentaries - Shout Casts when I'm tired of playing the game itself. - Attempt to get Gold in all the Challenge Missions. ( I don't know why but it helped a lot.) Just my 2 cents and a lot of people pointed these things out already but it really does help out a lot.
No, as far as I know, halo and starcraft will not be featured together. Also, a starcraft 2 elite is a very vague term. would it be protoss or what? -_-
http://quinnell.us/sspb/wiki/images/gnomes.png it would be nice to know what league you're in/what race and such if you want more specific advice than "practice practice practice! then watch replays!" a really good commentator to watch is day9. he really gets into explaining strategy and going through logical thinking that wins you games.
Damn statistics. 5% sounds good, but if you put it numerically it can look pretty awful. I mean, let's assume the pool is 1 million players (not sure if that is over or under estimating). At 5% that means your between 1st and 50,000th. Being the 50,000 "best" doesn't sound too elite anymore I think if you have to ask this question you shouldn't worry about it. If you're out winning prize money at tournaments you probably don't wonder about this anymore. If you're not, you probably aren't "elite". And becoming elite isn't easy......behold the road to elitedom (repost): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gR0ZQaBVtsw&feature=player_embedded
Aside from a lot of practice obviously, a good guide is the fastest way. Heres the link to guide (i use this, am pretty badass and still manage to have a life. haha) : http://tinyurl.com/26zlyyd
As noted, given how many Starcraft players there are... Getting into Platinum means your ok. Getting into Diamond means your good. Getting into Pro means your elite. I'm currently a Diamond 8. However, my world rank as of this moment is 17,350. That isn't really very elite. I was briefly in the Top 50 of CoH when it first came out, but then people start countering my cheese... and I able to be in the Top 200 of Halo Wars, but no one friggin played that and there so many double accounts I was probably closer to Top 100. Even so, both are a bit more impressive than being friggin 17,350th.
Who cares if you are 100,000 or 50,000th or first. As long as you are having fun, around your skill level, then that is all that matters. I find people make this game into more competetive then it should be...
