So after some time of beta testing there are any news about the time when will be the game released? Is still sometime of june-July?
Blizzard has a tendency to wait it out and release games just in time for Christmas, and I fully expect SC2 to be no different. I'd be really surprised if they actually went along and released it as early as you guys are suggesting. On another note, am I the only one who was really excited back when they announced it in May of 2007, but by this point I'm just kinda like "Meh I'm over waiting for it, I don't really care anymore"? Everyone seems to be begging for beta keys and stuff, but I really can't be bothered with that. I'm just gonna wait till it comes out (I'll still get it) but at this point I kinda don't care how long it takes them to release it because its just been dragged out for nearly three years. And they were clearly already in development with it well before that, so its like what the **** is taking so long?? Also, not a fan of Terran so I'll probs just rush through the campaign (unless its actually really good, but doesn't sound like it to me so far) and then be waiting for the two expansions. Hopefully they don't take anywhere near as long or cost as much as the first one. Have to admit I'm more interested in Terran this time around than the original, and for me, Protoss doesn't sound as good as they were originally.
Well Blizzard has said "they plan for a (US) summer release". If that actually happens or not, only time will tell.
They say stuff like that every time they release these games. Notice the pattern with when they actually end up being released though? It's always late year, right before Christmas. Usually late October-early December. They're full of **** saying June/July/August.
First SC was released in June/July. I remember because we co-oped my highschool's PC lab to run a lan party on its release. I won with Ultralisks of all things (which were god awful on release, but we were all noobs). It would be fitting if SC2 was also released in just as summer break hit.
