Awards brainstorming

Ok guys, we need more awards.

I have a few ideas, but we all need to help to get things really going.

Currently, we have these awards:

Activity award

Posting award

Community award

Helpful award

I don't know about you guys, but I don't think four is enough awards.



So, here I my ideas:

King mod award - going to the mod that helps the most. This may coincide with the Helpful award, but this is only for mods, Helpful award can go to other ppl.

Best of friends award - this one is easy to get, the one with the most friends, gets this award. I'm not sure the criteria for the awards we already have, so it might be the same as the community award. *wins this one currently*

Best fanfic award - goes to the person who has the best fanfic in the fanfic board. So we get well done fanfics

Best tutorial award - to the person who makes the most helpful tutorial thread. This will inspire ppl to make awesome tutorials to help ppl do things

Highest rep award - goes to the person with the highest rep, this would hopefully inspire ppl to do well and get rep ups.

Sig master award - for ppl who make sigs for others, the one who makes the best one, gets this award.



Ok, thats all I got right now. We'll have to do polls to figure out who some of these go to. Sorry if the names are a little lame, but I just thought them all up in short notice

If you guys have anymore, you are welcome to share them.

 

pet award-for the person who has the most pets

games award-person who has the most high scores in the arcade

post award-to the person who has the most posts

umm, i got no more atm xD

 

Cartographer's Award - Awarded to the overall most enjoyed map based on views of the members expressed through their posts.

Roses are Red Award - Awarded to the overall most enjoyed poem based on views of the members expressed through their posts.

Zoo Keeper Award - Awarded to the member with the most pets.

I'm A Star! Award - Awarded to a random member for 1 month who currently has no awards, but has an activity over 10%, not a negative rep, and joined no more than 2 months ago. This member might receive special benefits, gifts, etc.

 

Tournament Master Award : Player with most tournaments won

 

Kurai, there already is a posting Award.

LT currently has it.

Sir Spamalot Award: User with the most posts in the Space Junk section. That does not mean post in space junk anytime you aren't posting anywhere else.

Also, no I guess not, which makes me sad, because I rarely ever make stupid mistakes like that... T.T

 

The awards need to be something that could move around.

I will automatically get the most posts award, Kurai will always have the most friends award, and Jon will always have the highest rep award.

 

BoP, I have 9 more friends then kurai does.

Most of the awards can, and will switch from person to person.

 

Not the ones I listed.

 

What?

 

I can only do the awards based on a few criteria. Basically anything that has to do with the vBexperience bars (The green and red bars). Things like activity rate, thank yous, reputations, number of points, or anything that gives you points and/or activity rating.

I can't do things like pets, minerals, etc.

 

Why not?

 

Because that is how life works. Fool.

Most of the proposed awards are based on opinions, which is bad. As Jon said, they have to work with raw facts found in the vBexperience system (in which someone still needs to change 'minerals' to something else).

Most thankyous sounds nice, but since the system is quite limited, I can't think of anything right now. But I could do the graphics part of things.

i talk to like, 90% of my friends BoP, i don't just add random people like dark and ace. people there are actually my friends
and jon if you needed help with it, i could help regulate the pet amounts, if there's a way you could make a thing in the bank. like where it says the most mins. it can just have the most pets too, and then i could help if you needed it.
