Battle net lost my character name

Discussion in 'StarCraft II Beta' started by HorseFeathers, Apr 23, 2010.

    I downloaded the latest patch (9) tonight and started the game up. It asked me to enter a new
    character name.
    Is this normal or did I lose all of my information? Has anyone else experienced this?

    Blizzard wiped everyones info to start afresh and test if their infastructure can handle it....its just a joy of being in a beta :p

    There was a full reset. This has only happned 2 times what I know of.
