This week's patch is just as much an attempt to fix the disaster that was Patch 13 as it is a balancing act of its own. Now we have a re-increase in the Ultralisk's health as well as some movement in the upgrades and abilities of Zerg units, like a buff in the way that Roach's underground regeneration works. They also nerfed the Viking's ground damage which, in our minds, is a bit of a strange change to make when other imbalances exist *cough* Phoenix anti-grav *cough*. No matter, here's the full changelist! Patch 14 brings mostly balance changes, with a few bug fixes on the side. Finally a good patch for those waiting for zerg buffs though, as roach got re-buffed and the ultra got a little speed/hp boost. Balance changes are getting smaller now, as the game boils down to fine tuning. There is no situation report available at this time. Is it just me, or is the Ultralisk move speed an incredibly arbitrary number? Other than that, I like the love that Zerg is getting. They've been iffy since last patch (at least in the games that I've watched me brudder play)
You mean because it goes out 4 decimal places? Yes very odd. Blizz must be getting super precise with release approaching.... or drunk. What's with the viking nerf? It didn't really do much on the ground before.
i was expecting a nice round percentage increase, but it's still 31.2%... rather odd. but incidentally, it is exactly the same move speed as an un-upgraded zergling.
Gotta love all of the buffs Zerg are getting; maybe now I won't get my *** kicked so hard when playing as them. However, I'm sad that the Infested Terran ability may never return to its former glory.

I dont get Vikings ground nerf, in groundmode they where only good at killing workers before. The other changes looks reasonable.
The speed is that way because its derived from a formula. It's 2 x 61/64 or something like that. It's the exact speed a zergling runs off creep, without metabolic boost. I'm surprised the issues in TvP were not addressed in this patch. Also, 1st patch ever to have a Protoss buff!
