I didn't participate in the first phase of the sc2 beta, but I was interested in playing the phase 2 beta. So my question is, how do I go about getting a beta key for phase 2, when it comes out, if I didn't have one for phase 1, if even possible. Thanks
If you preorder SC2 from some sites, you will get a key too. If you are lucky it is possible too, since Phase 2 is for stresstesting the servers like Phase 1 were, so they wil probably send an extra wave of keys. (It is also possible that Joneangle, our admin, will recieve some keys from Bliizard, so if you are active and friendly on the site, that may help Good luck getting a key.
Most likely in stores, you can still pre-order SC2 but they won't have any beta keys left. What you need to do is pre-order the game anyways and email help @ gamespot and tell them something on the lines of "I've pre-ordered and they promised me a beta key and it has been a while and I havent received a call from them" provide as much information you would need from your pre-order receipt support will reply to your email with a newly generated beta key. I've done it twice
