Why haven't you guys completed the april fools contest? and i hate my life as of right now because of the fact i do not have a beta key and the fact that ****ing jerkoff losers who have no interest and care for sc2 are exploiting sc fans for hundreds of dollars. could u also explain to me why 2-3 beta keys are being sent o the same ****ing people? like im so passionate about this game been waiting essentially half my ****ing life sofar and I including people like me are getting **** on by complete noobs who got beta within the first 2 waves of emails. I'm a bit drunk right now which is why i'm ranting but i've been dedicated as anyone following live streams for hour on end searching endlessly for an affordable beta key which seems to be wayyyy out of reach and trying to find sites where they will give away free beta keys. I understand that i should have done more earlier in competeing in the starcraft 2 beta key giveaways but all of those were contests that besides the april fools required some kind of artistic imagination and or were like first come first serve(find jim raynor screen shot). so if there is anyone who could give me answers to my woes or even provide a legit and affordable beta key i will kiss you on ur butt love always Muncie
It is a bit annoying that people who hardly care about SCII at all get to have beta key and others who could really use that opportunity to its fullest do not. But that is to be expected from any beta out there.
All such people with such beta key offering scams will be dealt with the mods. Not need to ask, it will just happen.
Blizzard gives keys to a bigger variety of people than just hardcore fans. And rightly so. Why give keys to fans who blizzard knows will buy the game anyway regardless of whether or not they get a key, when they could give them to people who are new to the game, and would make them excited about it, thus having lots more buyers (yeah, that was kinda a run-on sentence).
yeah i guess ur right, but like why give beta key to a guy who probabbly has no idea what starcraft is and will look at the email and say wtf is this and delete it. when theres people checking their emails every 2 seconds! like me!
Dec Lee posted some vids of the guys from 1up playing the beta. They didn't even know what the Xel' Naga watxh towers were...even as they walked up to them and they lit up the map... That sorta thing pisses me off.
yeah i watched like 5mins of their live stream on day one and they were like okay i'm going to build a zealot. and the guys like where do i do that? oh okay there it is. hahaha
I don't mind newbs playing the game. It will help them to make sure that the game will appeal to the casuals also. What I hate is when someone just flat out doesn't play or report anything. It's not even worth it.
