Beta Stage 2 Ends Sunday

All good things come to an end... twice. The second (and final) stage of the StarCraft 2 beta ends this Monday at 12 AM PDT (That's 1 AM EST). Make sure to get your games in prior to that time. And also get your pre-orders in for launch on the 27th.

So lame! They should have had the beta going until the day before retail release. Blizzard can be such lameos sometimes. Delays, delays, delays, then stunted betas. At least it was fun while it lasted. Now...nine days of sheer torture.

 

I'd prefer them to bring down everything so on release they can handle the load since it'll be even larger than the start of second phase .

I should really preorder today just incase...if my area sold out i don't know what i'd do OO

 

Oh Prodigal, you like to emphasize things to much don't you. Anyway, thanks for the heads up Jon, i'll definitely make sure to do some but kicking in the next few days.

 

Thanks to Hodl pu for sharing this information with us. I've been so busy I've not noticed this. I've not payed too many SC2 games of recent cause of it. But now I know to get in a few games before tomorrow. So that's nice. And it means only a week or so till the big launch. Nice .

Very lame. Woke up to an email from blizzard saying I was able to join the SC2 beta. Downloaded it and saw this. Hahaha, oh well. Least I can see what it looks like.

 

wouldn't it be funny if they told us they were extending it and then changed their minds at the last minute. You know dashing our hopes, like the years of waiting.

 

They can't do that now, official release date and all the commercials.

 

Luckily I got something to keep me busy during this time.

Aggravating! I didn't check my email this weekend. Just found out this morning that I finally got a beta key from Blizzard over the weekend. Now beta is closed. Nice.

Yea why is it still open? For a second I thought this thread was a lie.

it looks like the 2nd phase of beta goes THROUGH Monday 7/19, so that means I still have a few hours to play with the beta. Nice!

Just won 12 in a row and then got kicked because of battle.net...the next game my opponent left 2 minutes in after he/she asked me if i was recently kicked from any games... could it be going down soon ?

 

I was on a winning streak too and got kicked out in the middle of a game, then it said my client is no longer recognized.

 

Same... I've done 4 games since and all of my opponents have been kicked within 5 minutes of the game although it still lets me log in after saying client not recognized etc. but there's no point playing if one of us will be kicked before the game starts
