http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/5384710 UPDATED: February 22, 2010 I decided to go with torrenting instead of uploading because 1) It's easier for me. I don't have to spend a lot of time uploading and re-uploading when that upload fails. I can just host through the night and people can pick and chose what they want. Plus, I won't have to mess with time limits and such where I'll have to reupload every month or so. I don't think it'll be that big of a deal if not many people seed besides myself. 2) It's not that big of a deal right now, but, once there is a crap ton of beta videos, posting links and keeping track of them will be more trouble than me just hosting a torrent. 3) As long as you keep the file names the same, you can download future torrent uploads and pick up where you left off so this is convenient for the completionist factor as well. If all goes well and people care, then I'll maintain this through out the beta. If not, i'll just upload them and keep track of links.
thanks man! so is that you playing, or is just a bunch of videos you pulled off the web? im still dl'ing it.
I pulled them from the web. There was a terrific turn out on this torrent. There's already 24 peers seeding and I'm uploading at about 500kpbs I've already got another 750mb of videos I'm ready to torrent tomorrow morning. I don't want to torrent it now because that could interfere with everyone else getting the current videos and the hardest part of a torrent is getting it out to the community to seed. FYI, all you have to do to get the new beta videos from future torrents is just download the torrent. As long as the file names are the same, you'll continue your download and added files as if nothing were different. I'm going to start spreading the news around other forums. If you feel up to it, you could drop some links wherever you are so that this torrent can prosper and more people can have the complete collection of beta videos.
http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/5379076 The torrent has been updated for February 20. Tons of videos have been added for anyone interested. I had to shave a few of the less interesting videos so that the download would not be any scarier than it already is. The last torrent was highly successful. I saw over 100+ peers at a single time and 45 of you seeded for quite some time. Thank you for your support in keeping this going. I will continue to maintain this torrent as long as the community is interested. Remember, in order to download the new videos, you only have to start with torrent. The files you've already downloaded will be skipped and the new ones downloaded. Have a happy beta!
Do you have any Protoss footage in your torrent. Because I've seen a lot of Terran gameplay. Don't care too much for the Zerg. But have seen little Protoss gameplay and am really interested in them. And I don't want to be downloading torrents that are not people playing as Protoss. For the moment.
http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/5384710 UPDATED: February 22, 2010 Another day, another batch of videos. However, this time, I've decided to add replays. So, in addition to the videos, there will be replays included in the torrent. Just a note: it takes some time for seeders from past torrents to switch over so if you start out on the new torrent with slow download times (less than 300kps ) and you do not already have the videos from past torrent, you might want to start off with those. You can find them in my profile. So far, the torrent has been hugely successful. Far beyond what I thought it would. I figured I'd be seeding by my lonesome but it turns out that there's usually about 40 other seeders. Thank you for your support. My ISP thanks you.
http://isohunt.com/release/408341?new_post Here's another batch. I'm switching to a weekly format to go easier on seeders. Also, I had some trouble with TPB so it took a couple of days to get the new version up. Enjoy!
