Bigfoot

Well my two earlier topics, the paranormal and extraterrestrial life, were a success, so I decided to make one on Bigfoot.

So, for those of you who don't know what bigfoot is or know it by some other name like Sasquatch or Yeti (I think it's Yeti), it's basically a large ape-like creature that walks on two legs and is larger than a human.

My question to you guys(poll) do you believe or don't believe in bigfoot and why.

 

I don't believe in bigfoot simply because no definite proof of its existance has been provided.

It's real, Bigfoot is the one who faked moon landing

Why do people say the moonlandings were faked?

 

You should probably ask that in that "was the moonlanding faked?" thread.

 

I would have to see an autopsy and a live specimen to believe this, don't you think a body of one of them would have showed up by now? But there was a giant ape called gigantapithicus whos skeleton was actually found in North America, so who can say.

 

I don't believe in bigfoot for the same reason that I don't believe in ghosts, vampires, werewolves, and unicorns.

 

Bigfoot. It sounds made up to me. But if i ever do see one, i'll ask him/her/it if he/her/it is real.

But haven't you guys seen that footage where a guy follows Bigfoot with his video camera? Experts can't say the footage was faked.

 

i say big foot is real. i have sean one whare i use to leve.

 

I doubt our race has explored every inch of the planet, so I think some things we don't quite believe in could exist.

 

I've never seen a bigfoot, no reason to believe in its existence unneccesarily.

 

The people who filmed the famous footage of Bigfoot admitted it was a hoax. It was just a practical joke they played on a family friend or a mate or something. It's just like the picture of the Lock Ness Monster, they were both just a hoax.

 

Well, I don't think the Loch Ness Monster is real, namely because it would be such a concentrated species population. Living in one series of lakes? Please.

But Bigfoot is possibly a different story. We're talking about a solitary animal that may require hundreds of acres of roaming space, probably moves very quickly, and is most likely very adept at avoiding humans.

There are also reports from around the world in different remote locations. There are plenty of stories of unknown species finally being identified. Take the giant squid long thought to be a sailor's story and only 20 years ago finally identified as a real species.

So I'm not saying that Bigfoot DOES exist, I'm just saying it's scientifically feasible.

 

Idd, i do believe there is some form of "yeti" or bigfoot in existance, i remember reading a book actually about some (was it polish?) people escaping from a prisioner of war camp and journeying ALL the way across the himilayas and across deserts etc, a true story written by one of the people who undertook the journey...

sorry i cant give more of an explanation, but i read it yeaaaars ago, but ahem, yeah the journey was proved to be real, and at one point in the himalayas the group came across a yeti just below them in the snow, ofc they didnt know wtf it was and the word yeti wasnt used, but his description matched all the current descriptions today!

just my 2 cents... if anyone could give me the name of this damn book i could probobly describe this with more detail ;p.

 

If instead of saying Bigfoot and calling it "Giant Ape" would it make you feel that it is more real?
