Black Mesa Source-A Half life mod

As most of you know, the half life series is one of the greatest storys, and gameplay creations, anyone has seen. Half life 1 had its great moments, as well ah Half life 2. But combining them would be the best. Thats why valve has created Black Mesa source. This is a mod that recreates half life, using the source engine, and and graphics from half life 2. The ultimate mod.

okay yay finally someone brought this up... Also to inform more people this is not a simple job where they can put everything from HL1 ans sourcecify it. They are remaking all the maps, NPCs, monsters, AI...ect
Its quite impressive and also the music they have in the website is pretty amazing as well (take note they didn't put the entire length of the soundtracks, its just a teaser)

omg ur missing out on sooo much. Half Life is amazing and recently you may have heard the Orange Box. That box my friend is a perfect way to experience HL2 onwards since it contains 5 games at a fairly cheap price. See the trailers and all that before buying it though... most people like the series but some don't

 

This is great news. I completed HL1 ages ago and I haven't played HL2 so I might get a hold of them and play them one after the other to go along with the story. I can't remember HL1's plot but when it gets out on the source engine I think I'll busy myself with the HL storyline again.

well, considering the topic we are more likely to throw head crabs at your head than zerglings, that said.

*Picks up a head crab and throws* How can you not have heard of counter-strike. There is a good chance that counter-strike is the most popular multiplayer FPS around. If it isn't the most popular then it is the second or third most popular. It is a game that, even though it is getting old, is far superior to crap games like Halo.

Halo isn't a bad game, I own halo 1 and 2 for PC, though I cant play Halo 2 because I dont have vista.
