I dont know if this has been posted before but this is a person who went to blizzard and a detailed descriptive of there Starcraft II Battles, I found it to be a very interesting read about the tactics of SCII. http://www.battlereports.com/viewreports.php?reportnum=6332 Bonus 500 minerals. NTRI
"All that money and the Mothership has NO ANTI-AIR ATTACK?!? IT'S A FREAKING MOTHERSHIP!!!" That quote sums it up nicely I'm about half way through and liking every word of it owerup:
I like the detail this guy puts into his battle reports. I couldn't for the life of me remember each game to that level. I am not sure if I can even separate them all in my mind. He does kind of fluff it up a bit, and seems to make a few incorrect observations. He says that the buildings are smaller... I would have to disagree. Most were the exact same relative size, If anything, some were larger. The most notable were the gas structures, which took up 3x3 on the grid instead of 4x2. It was the same thing with the spells, Psi Storm, for example, while it had a different(less dangerous-looking) animation, appeared to be the same size. He mentions that he always had trouble with gas relative to minerals. Everyone, everyone I spoke to about the game had the same problem. I imagine Blizzard is still working on that. Seradin: When SC2 goes beta, there's a good chance several members of this forum will be able to become part of it. Note: We'll leave this open for a while (since it is new), but then it is getting moved to the BlizzCon board.
sadly the beta is only open to the people who went to blizzcon, i dont see how that is fair if the people at blizzcon already got a taste of it and now they get more and more?
The beta will be open to whoever Blizzard opens it to. Game betas can be highly exclusive or incredibly open; it just depends on the company, and the game. Betas are done for testing purposes, to find bugs, glitches, things that bother players, in order to clean up the game for final release. A game like SC2 will require a wide range of people, and a large number. It would be suicidal to only allow a bunch of WoW fans (90% of BlizzCon) to be the only ones involved in final testing for SC2. Anyway, before BlizzCon, sc2forums said that he received word that Blizzard would allow several members of this forum to participate in the beta, even if they didn't attend the convention.
Why do I get a feeling the way to get a key on these forums is to win a competition in an area that I suck at (thus meaning will never happen)
