The problem is when i launch my client a small box with a starcraft 2 logo appears in the middle of the screen and doesn't respond (cant get to the login screen). The only way to close it is the ctrl+alt+del method. My friend had the same issue. The thing is that on his laptop everything worked fine at home, when he came to college this issue appeared, when he came back home everything was fine again. (Maybe the problem isnt in the machines hardware but in the connection (firewall/modem/router issues)) I tried to turn off the firewall, tried to turn off the anti-virus, tried to update the graphics card drivers, to delete the bnet cache folder or to disable visual themes in the exe file's compatibility option as listed in other threads. Nothing helped. The pc is suitable for the game. Btw every time i reinstall the client it launches it without patching, i cant log in cause the client is too old. When i exit it, the second time i launch it this issue appears again and again. Right now im trying to download the patches from somewhere else and try to let the client install them without needing to download. Maybe somehow this solves that. Got any thoghts or suggestions?
