Miss California strikes again! (for those who dont know what I am talking about watch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8XMvviFbkf0) Recently Prejean attended one of those dellusional republican events, nothing special. What got me was her speech though: "I am disgusted with the way some people can be so intolerant. It disgusts." Am I the only one smelling the terrible stench of hypocracy?
What stench aside from the obvious bias here? She simply stated her views which were shaped by her experiences growing up and top it off, she mentioned "No Offense..." Also the only thing I remember was the vicious smear campaign against her for her "controversial remarks" Not once did I hear anything about her lashing out at her contemporaries and their views. She was probably discussing that intolerance at the Republican event and relating it to how others are being singled out. Just like how you are singling her out right now. You might want to check your own intolerance before mentioning somebody else's own. ALSO you should be smelling around the current administration if you are looking for terrible, terrible stenches.
But I didnt write about what she said when she took part of miss California, that is done with. What gets me is that someone who denies civil rights to a group of people calls other people intolerant. And on topic of what she actually said that started this thing off: I admire that she stood behind what she believes even though she probably knew it will cost her the crown. However that doesn't change the fact that she is accepting discrimination against a group of people for no solid reason. Especially when she later goes around and calls other people intorelant. And 'no offence' is worthless crank. It doesn't excuse the context. I can claim that black people shouldn't have the right to vote and then just add no offence as if it just became valid.
