well, lucky cat is lucky cat, now back to our dailey lives of deer hunting, this only applies to those who live in southern part of North America, restrictions may apply.
Wow, they really should catch the person responsible. I hope the guy who did this gets an arrow stuck in his body too. Animals have feelings too.
Why would you do that to a poor defenseless kitten? Glad its ok though... If that was my cat I would seriously destroy whoever did it. I would scanner sweep where they are and seige tank the crap outa them!
It could just be an accident. It only said the police are investigating if it was deliberate or not. If it was deliberate of course they should be punished pretty severely, but there's no point in saying how much you want to stick an arrow in the guy if you don't know if it was an accident or not.
Poor cat. I can't even think about my cat with trouble. I just made a nightmare about my cat. we were both in my garden and we had a little tiger. Suddenly the tiger runs after my cat to devour her. I ran after the tiger and .... it was too late. My cat dies ! :'( I woke up, and my heart ran fast !
true, true, but who cares about the minor little details. Anyway if the guy shot the cat on purpose, punishment is deserved, if not, it was an accident so move on with your lives.
Explain a legal situation where a cat could possibly get hit by an arrow at that angle. No, I sense drunken foul play or teenage idiocy.
It's very possible it's an accident. Someone could have been shooting at a target and missed (badly) or whatever, and it hit the cat that happened to be there. It's not uncommon to have a stray bullet or arrow hit something far away, and it happens all the time. Don't make a biased judgment before knowing all the details because you like animals or something.
Wlck, if that's the case, then I blame the owners for allowing it to venture near the shooting range. Also, did the report mention anything about a nearby shooting range? Isn't a shooting range the only legal place you can shoot those outside of hunting? Were there any hunting grounds near the home? Or am I just completely ignorant of this nation's laws?
As far as I know there are no such laws on a federal level that prohibits backyard shooting in the UK. It's very possible he/she overshot their fence or wall. In that case they'd still be held responsible for being a danger to the general public and probably sued, but they won't be facing penalties as harsh as they would have if they shot the cat on purpose.
Most civilians in the UK are not allowed to have fire arms or orther dangerous weapons, those belong to the criminals there.
