    so this is the scenario:

Char invades Azeroth at a certain point, from that point on, no more Zerg troops are allowed into space, so no bombardments from high above, nor overlord drops from 40 km above the surface. Air troops can fly 400 meters above the surface tops.

    No kerrigan!

Zerg have a significant advantage in numbers and unitedness, while Azeroth has much more powerfull creatures

    Are Azeroth heroes allowed?

well allowing Azeroth heroes would be a double standard, but in contradiction to Kerrigan the Azerothian heroes actually make up most of the firepower, without them the battle would be over, i left kerrigan out so it becomes more something of army vs army

so it includes the heroes of azerot yes

If Azeroth had enough time to realise the threat and unite they'd have a pretty certain win. Tanking Zerg wouldn't be exactly easy, but they have plenty of mages capable of obliterating dozens in a single spell.

unless you meant the players though, those are left out.

@Meee, i dont think the mages could retreat fast enough, i think dragons would be the main damage dealers

Edit: well, the players arent actually left out, their powers have just been reduced to normal soldiers

Dragons would be mostly occupied by aerial forces. And mages wouldn't have to retreat if there was an army of knights, grunts, tauren, dwarves etc. fighting on the frontlines.

thats the strength of the zerg, they dont need to stop to battle everyone they come accross, the zerglings just run over everything. Forming a frontline would be close to impossible

Running over a formation of Tauren in full plate armor equipped with tower shields and buffed up? I don't think so.

Hmm, I think that wards will be able to at least slow them down. Also: Undead. They can revive thousands of dead Zerg right after they are killed. A Necromancer could make a missive wall of Skeletons and Frost Wyrms in no time. The problem is that the Zerg just keep coming if you fail to take out the Hatcheries and Queens.

sure, the tauren ould stop them, but how many zerglings would seep through the gaps in the formation? how long could a single tauren hold off an ever-advancing wall of claws and jaws?

Indefinetly if they are being healed. I think this answer to this one really depends on the state of Azerouth at the time of the invasion and how readily all of the races would choose to work together.

lorewise healers can only keep up for a certain amount of time.

how readily the races work together: as much as is realistic
ebon blade, argent crusade, argent dawn would probably bond with other neutral factions such as the cenarion circle. the goblins would build cannons for everyone. The scourge will just kill anything

So are we assuming this invasion took place after the battle of Wrathgate?

No one would fight with the Scourge, but if it was in Arthas' interest he could help in other ways (such as attacking strategic locations with his army etc)

Ulduar? I know that a wiki search will keep me reading to far after midnight again. See it as an addiction. :p
Can you give a short summary?

Another thing: Spirit Walkers would just walk through everything, and then take out the Hatcheries. And Infestors would get owned by Feiry Dragons. Also: would the Naga, creep races and those giant birds -not the Wyverns, the ones that used to guard the prison of Illidan- also participate? Then thd victory would go the Azeroth almost instantly. The diversity would just overwhelm the Zerg, who are evelved to counter specific, erm, units.

all of azeroth joins, and perhaps some outland stuff too(the crystal thingies'd probably help the good neutral factions)

Ulduar was a city of the titans, recently added as a raid in the newest patch, currently occupied by Lokk saronn, a old god

Uber power. How about throwing in a couple of old Queens? Lol, Spawn Broodlings to insta-kill heroes.

I'm sure the Burning Legion will stop this invasion and take control of Azeroth in a bloodless Coup d'etat ;)
