What is this term "cheesing" that I've heard about SC? People who cheat or do really chicken **** maneuvers? Early rushers annoy me. People who manage to get into my base with reapers or something else before I can get a decent number of Marines ready. And I can get them ready pretty quickly, too. The biggest, most annoying cheesers are tossers (Protoss players) who sneak a probe into my base and start building pylons and photon cannons before I have ANY Marines at all. Stuff like that really pisses me off. It happened a couple times today, so I'll call them names and tell them what I did to their mothers last night, lift off my buildings, fly them out to corners of the map or hidden spots, and go afk. I make them build up enough to come kill my buildings, or they quit and I win. SC is not meant to be rushed, you need to build up and play right.
You're cool. This one actually made me laugh. I know I'm feeding a troll, but it's actually getting pretty funny.
/agree with OP Real men play with a 5 minute no rush rule. This rule is part of the man's code and needs no prior agreement. Yeah.
Guess he'll never learn that rushing is a key RTS strategy. And if they succeeded, they were definitely playing the game right, even pro-gamers will cheese/rush in tournament games. Oh, and if someone did say they did my mom and floated things around, I'd just laugh and get air units to screw his **** with afterwards.
I threw this in the bin because you can't mean what you posted, mc. I also threw this in the bin in case you do. No sane, mature, grown person can honestly think that way, which would lead me to a conclusion others before me have already arrived at. I wouldn't have even noticed this thread if it weren't for someone's report. I'm going to act in each case until you realise how to spark a meaningful discussion or that Space Junk is the place to vent.
lol. cheese is easy to stop, you just have to be aware of it. I'm all about pressure, and cannons are really the only thing a toss player can do against terran to reverse the early pressure situation.
Dammit McStupid, YOU'RE RIGHT!!! I've read online about this before, and SC2 is a game that is meant to be played to completion. Which is to say, you do not early rush. Both people have time to build up their forces, be it land or air or both, and attack and then the winner is decided. Tossers have an unfair advantage in early rushes, wherein a probe sneaks into a base, builds a pylon out of view of the other player, then builds a photon cannon, then the probe moves in a little closer, and builds another cannon, and you can't kill it because you're still in range of the first cannon, and the ****er keeps building pylons and cannons, and its ****ing BULL ****. Tossers should be nerfed so photon cannons don't come so early in their build order. And take longer to build. And cost more minerals and gas. The whole practice of early rushing is just unethical, it's NOT how the game is meant to be played. +1 for McStupid, he's got it right, even if his method of delivery is a little off.
