This is almost as bad as the time they made it illegal to reincarnate ... Way to go Communism!

I wonder what the Chinese government thinks of the name "Wings of Liberty".

Do you think they'll try to make Blizzard change that name, too? I think it's possible which is why I posted it here.

-- They might even try to make the unit name "Ghost" be changed if the localization is close to it's original meaning.

The title Wings of Liberty would only be different in China though.

  3. Of course.

Why does it matter, I thought Ghost was indefinitely postponed?

  7. Because it's funny and could effect StarCraft 2: Wings Of Liberty in China.

Gotta love China, if memory serves correctly, just about everything has to be redone or be banned over there. Like even the class "The Sound of Music" over in China is considered outright American porno.

  9. If I ever reincarnate, I hope I don't do so in China because if they ever found out that I was reincarnated I would spend the rest of my just begun life in a Chinese jail :(

    China = fail

its depressing that the US gets so much stuff from China. At least don't buy kids toys from China, I've lost count how many times I've heard of harmful stuff appearing in children's items. I swear they're trying to kill us...

    What's with 2nd link?

Who do you expect to read that?

Does this mean SC: Ghost is in production again?

  12. They would love to if they could :D

-- Hahaha! I just found out that some Skeletons, Zombies, and Spirits were replaced with other things in the Chinese version of World Of WarCraft.

What about Warcraft III? What do you call the invisible undead scout?

  14. I think China's stance on things like this has changed since WarCraft 3 was released. It started, as far as I know, when they declared that political / bureaucratic war on the Monks and made it illegal to be Buddhist, to reincarnate, and other such retarded / insane laws.

why doesnt anyone respond to my claim that either this is fake or sc:g is in production again?

  16. 1) The second one is a government site and it has pictures and mentionings of StarCraft: Ghost. I'd say it's for real.

    2) I don't really see how this means anything significant. I mean, Blizzard has done more concrete things in the past but it still meant nothing.

    3) This is a democratic government; not a chinese / communist government so we're free to respond to what we want and how we want. (JK)

In the U.S., the game companies put in stuff.
In Communist China, the stuff is banned.

    *facepalm*

As a representative of the communist thought, I'd say that 1) this is ridiculous, 2) no communist supports china, and 3) no communist considers china to be communist, as it is 1) a market economy and 2) revisionist in ideology.

This just seems like a misunderstanding though.
