Confused and don't know what to do.

I'm under a lot of stress, I didn't make the B-Ball Team, I'm being picked on by my whole family, ad they are destroying all of my stuff, this includes a bit of physical stuff (Violence). I can't stop thinking about how I didn't make the B-Ball team, and I'm forced to do unnecessary chores. I'm not allowed to get a job, or go out and have much fun anymore.

I have thoughts of suicide. What should I do.

 

First of all, suicide is NEVER the answer. You should talk to someone who you really trust, and tell them what's been going on. You should follow thier advise to make things better. Talk to a adult, or a teacher you like. They can help you. Just remember man, suicide is never the right thing to do. Ever. You can make it though this man. I know you can. Just ride it out, tings will get better. They always do.

 

I know you, you are a nice guy, all the people who tried to commit suicide and failed knew regreted thinking about it. Besides, we care if you never show your high templar animation on this forum ever again.

 

Well there is no one I can really trust. It will always go to social workers (Child Services)

 

Well, I'm here in Canada, and we have a service called Kids Help Phone. They're great people, and I'm sure they could help you out. Or look up a crysis hotline in your area. No problem is ever too big, or too small, to fix man. Just give it a chance.

 

Well from what I hear you get tortured in foster homes, by other kids... badly. They also steal your stuff and all that.

 

You don't have a f**king idea what I've been through have you? I get physical abuse every f**king day from my own dam family, I get teased at school everyday, and I don't know what to do so just stfu. I have gone to people, and it always results in social services, so stfu if you don't understand.

 

I agree - suicide is definitely not the answer. You will get through this tough time eventually and in ten, twenty years when you have a wonderful family of your own, etc. it will be worth it.

That said, you NEED to talk to somebody. Physical abuse from your family? You need to get the police or social services or something involved. Even if a foster home isn't perfect, it'll be better than your current situation.

As far as the b-ball team goes, don't sweat it. Just try again next year. And maybe ask the coach if you could be a manager or something. That way you can still be involved and doing something you enjoy.

 

Well physical abuse is "their way of discipline", but how they act is just a manner of anger. My friend has explained how living in a foster home is like, everyone is careless, they prank you (Cam in shower), steal your stuff, blame stuff on you (Everyone gangs up on the new person), and threaten you (Kids on drugs). So thats why I don't want to go there, I don't know what to do.

 

Your friend is just joking, foster families aren't evil, your friend is either over exagerating or has watched to many sopoperas.

 

...No he has been sent to a foster, becuz his parents were drug deals, and drug makers.

 

foster families aint so bad, a few of my friends aare in one and they do just fine.

Not all foster homes are like your friend described. There is no excuse for physical violence and you HAVE to report your parents. Taking a chance with a foster home is your best shot. It can't get any worse, right?

 

Well.... I'll just stay with my family a bit longer, and see how it works, I'll notify you in a week or 2 :-\ Well thanks anyway guys. Also how the hell do I make people to stop teasing me -.- it just gets to me after 8 years.

 

do a martial arts, maybe aikido, you can learn some fine techniques there
