Ive god a wii with a modchip and I gotta say its probably the best money ive ever spent, so much fun for such a small amount of money spent.
i like all of em!!! theres halo on xbox! and final fantasy on ps!! and wii....well....wii is like a party console dont u think? its so fun with everyone around watching and taking turn. and PC is just the OWAGE....(not a console..but meh...) lol...
so right you are Ace though i dont know about final fantasy, i never really liked it. But everybody is allowed their own opinion. Its basicly why i made this post, to see what people prefer.

xbox 360 has the best games, and mine has never broken. The controllerless Wii is gay in every way. PS3 doesnt have good games (yet anyway) and is an enormous and expensive monstrosity.
I truely can't say who will be the king. This is my whole take on the three systems IMO: 360: I've never seen a console with so many problems AND the fact that Microsoft knew about the major defects and for over 2 years never issued a recall until recently. They broke their OWN license agreement pertaining to defects, you can even find it in every 360 manual. Thats just piss poor customer service, relations and they even lied to their customers just to keep their reputation over the competition. Sure the games are ungodly awsome looking, fun and in a variety to choose from but the 360 does have bugs to be fixed. I've never seen a consol freeze so much from overheating, eat game discs like alcoholics and beer, and maybe the worst customer service in history of the planet. My best friend has one and he's gone through hell since he got it. Only until recent when he sent it in for the recall repairs has it actually been fun to play. It still ate his NFS:Carbon disc while I was playing it no more than a few days ago... I'm not wanting to invest my money in a consol if every few months I have to go out and BUY a new $60 game disc because my console ate the last one. Overall: Problems=hardware Props=great selection of fun and beautiful games PS3: From what I've played so far on the few games they have it does seem to be pretty solid. I haven't heard of any eaten discs from my friend who owns one yet. It does piss me off that the battery pack is INSIDE the controler so after so long I have to go out and buy a whole new controler just because the damn battery went dead. There is NO reason for that what so ever! It's nothing but a scam to make you buy/pay more into the console and that makes me sick to think they would go so low to milk money out of disposable game controlers. Not to mention that the HD cables for the damn thing are freaking $60-$70 bucks when the 360 gives you them with the console. Since the launch of both the PS and PS2 the memory cards have been compatable with the following systems which was nice. Sadly now in order for you to transfer your PS2 game saves to your PS3 you have to BUY an adapter which costs you $15 more dollars. There is however a controler adapter for your PS2 controler to work on your PS3 which is pretty smart and nice. The main thing is the steep $600 price tag for most people, I myself will eventually get one but I'll be getting the 80gig verson that comes with MotorStorm. I personaly hope they find some new way to change the PS3 controlers to have some kind of replaceable battery not just throwing away a perfectly good controler. And the PS2 game compatability problems that been an annoyance. Overall: Problems=Costs, crappy controler, lack of good games and too many costly accessories slight bakwards compatability problems Props=It's hardware and the future possibilities for some damn awsome games Wii: A great and fun system thats overall had a perfect launch. I don't see myself personaly getting one but I look forward to what the Wii is looking at in the future(although the recent news of the new Resident Evil FPS got me quite excited). It's a fun, cheap and overall problemless system compared to the 360 and PS3. So far this system is the most promising to stay in the fight for a looooong time because everyone from young to old can enjoy playing this system. It's also great for parties(even if booze aren't included lol) because you can even enjoy watching your friends play because their actually having to get off their ass and move around(thank you Wario Ware for the Wii) unless your lazy fatass friends stay on the couch to play. Only noticable problems I've noted are some Software problems with the Wii, including when connecting to the internet. The Wii remote seems too sensitive and odd sometimes while using. Overall: Problems=Some Software problems but fixable, Wii remote is too sensitive sometimes Props=An overall fun console that anyone can easily learn and play with very little trouble and fun games for large crowds As for my vote I can't say who I think will win. The 360 has gotten quite shaky, the PS3 still hasn't seen it's good days, and the Wii keeps getting more interesting with every new anoucement. So it's a pretty tough choice for me, this will prove to be quite a great era for both games and Gamers as these consoles battle it out for control of your hands.
I don't own any consoles but to my understanding each has there pros and cons and i really don't think any console will "lose"(lose by forcing the company that made it to drop out of the console race) the 7th console generation "war" that will most likely happen in the 8th generation when someone makes a huge mistake (but thats still unlikely).
I'm getting a job for a 360 and for now I'm buying my friend's old Xbox. And I'm still using my PS2 for God of War and Guitar Hero. Wii? Meh. I'll just raid a friend's house that has SSB: Brawl when the game does come out. So I like the PS and Xbox. Not really into the Nintendo stuff.
the wii simply cant lose unless nintendo gets attacked by a swarm of mind slugs. sony was doing crap at the beginning, but from what i heard, it's sales are slowly increasing each month, while the 360's sales are decreasing. also, 360 is focusing on casual gamers more now, coughcoughcough

Sure it isn't a console, thank god, but it is a gaming platform. PC's own all. Almost all of the best console games are available for the PC and are much better played on the PC. Mouse look in FPS's anyone? Also without a PC you will miss out on games like SC2, or any other Blizzard title. Not to mention Crysis or Hellgate: London or any number of other games currently out or soon to be released. That said, I'm putting Wii since it is unique for consoles. Also the Wii mote can be used with a PC.

Wii all the way, I love nintendos gameplay. Lots of interesting and fun games for it. They also make good quality products that last, I mean my Nes worked for like 15 years. The thing that I don't like about Xbox 360, not saying its bad, sure they got some great games on it but I also hear them breaking and people going through like their 3rd 360 console. Most of the games are all shooters as well (the good ones), that are also avabible on PC and other consoles. Wii has only been about for around a year now and is almost surpassing the 360 in sales even though it release well over a year before the Wii, so it looks they are doing the best sales wise, definately in Japan. NDS and Wii are the top selling in the gaming market over there. With 360 only pulling 1.7 percent of sales. I may be going with Wii and PS3, since the ps3 is starting to come down in price and have some of my favorite franchises on it like Metal Gear, Final Fantasy, and Devil May Cry.
I think the ps3 will be the best console of all 3, however the Wii will easily win due to his low price, new gaming technologies and his way to attract old people and young kids as well. Currently, I think the 3 next gen consoles totally suck ass because of their lack of good games.. the console I play the most is by far my N64.. this would be followed by my ps2.. those are the 2 best consoles in my opinion... for now.. it's going to change next year.
The 360 at the moment...then next year, the PS3 will take over, betcha! I own a 360 though, and this sounds stupid as it goes against my prediction, i wont be getting a PS3.
Thats true, but the PS3 and Wii are still pretty new, only about a year old so far. I remember when the PS2 first came out it didn't have much either for the longest time.
