i thought this would be kind of a fun thread, we have a couple of comic book readers here. i only read Marvel, and even then my knowledge isnt that great, but still, we have some other members whor read other stuff okay ill start with uncool moon knight v4. Really, all the villains and hero seem kind of insane, but then in a lame way(though i only read 5 issues or so) Spiderman making a pact with mephisto. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fictional_history_of_Spider-Man#One_More_Day_.2F_Brand_New_Day I really really dont like the concept of it, though i havent read it, it just seems silly to me Ultimatum, Jeph Loeb(writer) tries to kill off the ultimate marvel universe cool things that happened Ultimate Marvel, a reimagining of the marvel universe made for modern day society, a captain America who constantly complains about all new stuff, Thor as a political hotshot, origins tying in with each other Runaways, hell yes civil war, AWESOME CONCEPT!!!! How society finally gets sick of untrained vigilantes after one of the newbs accidently has a colleteral damage of six-hundred people. The US population wants all heroes registered and working for the government, some heroes agree, some heroes dont, fighting breaks out untill the death of captain America Avengers: initiative, I really like this ongoing series, how it looks likee a light story at first glance, but if you read more closely you see how dark it is
deadpool so friggin funny though its a different kind of funny And i am not really a fan of dark-themed, more of normal themed with darker elements, like ultimate marvel
Don't all heroes do that? I will read his/her/its wiki. Probably going to keep me up all night again... What are your thoughts on the Joker? Which version: new movie, old movies, old comics, newest comics, or the Batman Future cartoon? I like the latest movie version best. Probably the best thing that happened to any comic character this decade. An he became way darker themed.
