Crashing...

This problem is starting to make me angry. While running SC2 my laptop just black screens with gray line going vertical. At first you can still hear everything going on in the background but then my hole system crashes and I have to manually shut it down and restart.

It seems to happen at random times. I have had it happen while at the log in screen, checking my ladder, and the most annoying one is during a game. Not at a specific time during either.

At this point I don't even care about the fact that it is hurting my ladder score. I just want SC2 to work!

Anyway if anyone has similar errors or possibly a solution please let me know.

I have tried updating all of my drivers (video, sound, NIC, etc) which was a project in and of itself. Windows 7 is completely up to date. I have tried graphic and sound settings in the game on both High and low.

About the only thing that I have not done is disable Turbo Boost for my processor off. Which is not in the BIOS so I don't know how I am going to do that. I'm not even sure that it is the cause for concern. I have an ASUS G73 gaming laptop btw.

Thanks for your time if you respond. :)

However, I'll say right now, it seems like your gfx card is either not enough, not compatible, or overheating.

My vote is on the overheating GFX card. Do it enough and it's gonna fry.
