I get really bad hiccups too tbh..

So bad that they wreak havoc on my chest, rather painfull .

the longest hiccup fit in the world was about 68 years, the poor person who was affected by it is Charles Osborne, from the town of Anthon, Iowa. He started hiccupping in 1922 and didn’t stop until February 1990, he died a year later after that, Guinness World Records estimates he had over 430 million spasms.

Doctors have yet to find a cause for hiccups, they know know that during a case of the hiccups, your diaphragm suddenly contracts, this results in a rapid, involuntary inhalation that eventually causes our vocal cords to shut, producing the famous "hiccup" sound, but doctors still havent found the reason why we just get hiccups.
