Diablo in high-rez

Now, I'm not horribly into Diablo, but this is pretty cool. It allows you to play Diablo II in most any resolution you want, windowed or fullscreen.

Nope. It actually adds to it. One guy was complaining that he could snipe some monsters before they knew he existed.

 

but don't run this on b.net, it could flag you as a hacker and you'll be banned for life.

D2 automatically renders map tiles a few spaces beyond the screen so it's smoother. this little mod just displays those extra tiles. unfortunately, if your resolution is too high you might start seeing little "black walls of death" along the edges.

 

Now I can make use of that barbarian axe throw finally! whew.
