A lot of people are beginning to question about the freedom that we are living in.
Now we cant do that and now we cant do this. However there is still a lot of things that we can do. Watch this:

What do you think, is this a proof that we live in a free society?

A free society is paid in the blood of wars. There is no such things as 'free'.

There can be no true free soceity, if true freedom did exist there would be chaos and society would crumble.

I agree with Fenix we definetly live in a relatively free society. However no society can be truly free because that implies anyone can do whatever they want but, if one person can do whatever they want it will likely prevent another person from doing so. The closest we can get to freedom is being able to do whatever we want as long as our actions don't affect anyone else.

We are almost as free as we should optimately be in some ways, and in some ways we are too free.

Shift a little here, a little there, and we are optimal

Complete freedom isnt good for society

This is why a utopia will never exist.

As far as the chaos, and rampant discontent, I disagree. I don't think it's in human nature to inflict sorrow upon others, it's more of a greed thing. Greed, and one-upmanship. I want it all and if I can't have it all I want more that the guy next to me

All i've ever wanted was a throne of skulls and legions of people willing to do my bidding and yet no one ever contributed. I mean really, was it to much to ask for?

No we don't live in a free society and neither should we. As long as the corruption of religion exists I doubt we will ever be 'free' as it confines our minds and beliefs to a certain set or listed things that the higher ups want you to. And you will join all the other mindless drones that compose a religion. Don't do this don't do that, why? Because I said so now stop asking questions or god will hate you! lawlz Ah no but seriously I think religion should be abolished. The reason? I can explain more just PM me, however I am talking about religion because it used to be (and still is in almost every way) in control of governments and countries and lives of people. Machiavellian, this word describes me most. Society is the anti-thesis of Chaos, Chaos is the anti-thesis of Nature, and Nature is the anti-thesis of Society. Chaos IS freedom, the freedom to kill your neighbor because you felt like it, the freedom to do things for any reason that are your own without the obvious natural consequences. Thus Society can never be freedom as its definition is chaos, and Society is restriction, it is the dooming of individuality and condemns its population and all to Equality.

So, because I'm a practicing Mormon, my mind is not only corrupted, but very closed, and due to this, I'm a mindless drone?

Yay for generalizations. Next time, don't lump everything together. It's ridiculous.

Also, I'm fairly sure 'Machiavellian' doesn't mean what you think it means....Afaik, it's means tricky, manipulative, or cunning - What you implied the institution of religion as actually.
