Do you exist?

Do you people exist? Does this site exist? I know I exist, for even if I doubt my own existence, there is SOMETHING doing the doubting. However, I've no proof you folks exist. Do you have any proof?

 

I wish I didn't. Or do I? If I don't and all the stuff still happens to me, does it really matter if I do or do not?
As for proof, I could say the same thing you do, but how does it prove anything?

 

There's a few ways to prove that you exist, and only one of them relies on God.

 

What were they again? (other than doubt thing)

That explains it. How can something perform an action if it doesn not exist? That is the proof.
But the proof has no thoughts, so does the proof itself exist...

I thought it translated to "I think, therefore I am"

Proving one's own existance is simple enough with this (or "I doubt" etc), but what about other people? How do you prove that it's not all just you making 'em up? There are people that appear in your dreams too, how do you know they're less real than the ones you meet while awake?

 

What if I am trapped by aliens or maybe computers(like Matrix) and do now live in a virtual world!
I can not know that and all of you guys could be computer programs or something!
Earth is not like the way I know it, or maybe I am not a human? Maybe I am another creature living as a human in a virtual world?
Or what if I am trapped in a dream? I am inside a som kind of sleeping machine! :O

We wouldn't exist if we weren't here to be doubted on our existence. Likewise, we wouldn't exist if we weren't trying to prove our existence, because that would mean there is nothing in existence to be proven it exists.
