Do you think that you are better than everyone else?

Do you think of yourself as better than everyone else. Smarter, tougher, stronger... anything. Do you feel as though everyone around you is lesser than you?

I do! At least when I'm at school I feel like everyone around me is an idiot and makes really stupid mistakes. I know this isn't true, but that's just how I feel right now.

I do in some things. Yeah yeah, conceited bastard and stuff, but I'm always one hell of a lot smarter than my classmates at school.

Im not overly good at anything, but I do know there are those worse than me.

In some ways... I hate to loose and to feel that someone is better/smarter than me so I usually come up with something that makes me look better

Well.. you're always gonna be better than someone and worse than someone so it's pretty pointless. If you feel you're surrounded by idiots.. gtfo and find somewhere else to be xD

 

I know I am better than every other student at my school in some things because thats what the numbers on the subject say. The problem with the above question though is all of the options are to extreme, nobody should be able to choose one of those options while maintaining honesty.

Also, just for my own curiosity what is your next signature going to be? That 100% of the people on this forum are arrogant?

My view of arrogance is simple, everyone is arrogant about something, the question becomes is that arrogance justified? In the situations were we would answer yes to that question most people tend to change there opinions of the person. In the situation were we would answer no to that question, I would say most begin to dislike the person more than they previously did.

I am better than a lot of people at some things. I am better than most people at math and science, but I suck at things like art and sports.

 

That seemed pretty extreme to say. Also, considering that 3/4 of the votes say 'in some areas', that doesnt sound arrogant to me.

Im about the exact opposite of Darktemplar_L's comment, lately I've been feeling that everyone's better than I am: grades haven't been good, always lose at videogames (my 11 year old sister wins everytime at special brawl), and people that I helped at work when they started now have more authority than I do.

Eon I was just making a guess based off of darktemp's record. Personally I know I am arrogant in some areas but I am also pretty sure I have earned that right in some areas as well (Mathematics being a big one).

 

curse math!...or at least bad math teachers. Seriously, I've dropped out of the engineering program becuase I can't learn anything from the school's calc professor. Something's wrong when a professor's class average year after year is a D(or low C in better years).
