    Wow this article isn't about some "negative" aspect of the U.S., that has to be some kind of record.

    The story does sound truly absurd, which makes me wonder if there isn't more behind the scenes. Whenever I read something like this I always end up asking myself what's on the other side of the equals sign because of my disbelief. If the situation played out exactly as stated then it's insane but unfortunately not the first (or likely the last) insane ruling.

    All I got to say is I'm glad my state has the castle law :)

    So this means if he buries his scooter 10 metres underground he's ok. But park it on the grass and get fined. That's so so wrong. Wnat a sad and crazy state of affairs this is.

    ...any private property that isn't bolted down or behind a fence is "accessible to the public" and therefore is public property?

    man, i could have a field day with this one.
