Don't care?

Any here ever get to the point, about someone, that you just don't care what happens between the two of you?

I am so close to the point right now, that it is unreal. I don't want to cross that line, I really don't. I need your guys help to reassure me.

Please help.

 

you'll be okay man, don't worry. No matter what happens between you and someone you care about, life goes on. Things will be okay, and so will everythign else. Whatever comes comes and I know you're strong enough to take it. Don't let anything drag you down, and if someone ruins it, if someone doesn't take the initiative, you are just too good for them, anyway. Don't worry Dark, you're strong and I believe in you, be sure and don't give up faith. things will work out for the better, no matter what happens.

I still care what happens to me, I'm not just gonna roll over and die.

It's her, soon I will get to the point that I don't care anymore, I don't want to get to that point.

 

Well, not really since I either don't care to begin with, or don't stop caring.

I'm just after a couple chapters of some meta-positive thinking book, so the advice here would be to make up a formula like "I keep caring" and repeat this five times a day or more. The problem is that one wrong word and the formula becomes deadly

but, pretending not to be shallow for a moment, i'd like you to ask yourself this, if you are truly close to not caring, why do you care about that, to me it sounds as if your no caring feeling actually comes from the fact that the initial rush of your relationship is over and you are not used to that.

No, it comes from the feeling that she doesn't care. idk if she does or not, that is the problem.

 

You're afraid that she might not care, so you start to not care. That's like dumping someone out of fear of being dumped first. And that's not very smart if the other person still actually likes you. I think you need to stay strong until you know for sure.

I don't wanna seem like an ass, but you don't leave someone you care about hanging like that. I think you're safer moving on, but...that's just me. sorry I can't be of more help.

Yes I have and it's a good thing. If you don't care, then you will not put in the effort to make the other person's like worse then it is now. It's a great way to end things and just move on never to speak to each other again.

 

This thread is so not needed anymore. The issue has been reconciled, things are good again.
