Problem is, a good opponent will spot it and then rush you before you actually get it on the map. Much like a dark templar rush, you'll need to scout your opponent first before even attempting this. If they too are teching, then try it.
I've seen that video like 10 times and enjoyed it as much in all of them, lol... The dialogue of huk and drewbie(nothing suspicious going on here!) and the caster's comments are hilarious! Edit: I just did one against carnuss today! Though I suck at it, it still felt so awsome, lolz! I kept laughing at myself thinking: "zomg he's gonna see a ****ing mothership move up his base!" Was Awesome with a capital "O"!
Yea I Scouted him, seen he had Minimal Forces, knew he was up to something, Hesitated and didn't Rush. Built up my Army and Moved Out..... Then got Completely Obliterated by his Army Cloaked by the Mothership and all he sustained was a Lowered Shield.....
I was remembering the commentary on the huk video when he pushed out and was laughing out to myself thinking "whoah! I'm doing a freaking mothership rush!"
Yea, you Rarely see them, when I seen it I was like "Zomg wTF 1s 7hat!!!1!" then I was like "...Mothership...".... Then my army died in seconds "....." *Brain Processing WTF Just Happened* ..... Then your Army is Uncloaked and Chargelots, Etc are Reeking Havoc on the Last Couple of Units..... Then this Word Flashed across my Brain:  Suxxx0red 70 teh m4xxx0r3d11111!
It's not just that it was early, it was perfectly executed too! He had probes+army ready to teleport in and made a whole invisible base in the enemy's base, lol!
A RL mate of mine who's currently in army had his day off yesterday and we had a few matches togeather... Since he's lost contact of what's going on in the starcraft world I took advantage of it and mothership rushed him resulting in an explosion of laughter over skype, lol!
A few days later he plays some games against QXC, loses the first to some insane drops and when the second begins he says "Let's make a deal: You don't make dropship, I don't make mothership"
