End tournament qualifying positions

    So I worked my way up and I finally made it to the 'End tournament qualifying positions' bracket. Any ideas on what this is?

    At the end of each "season," a length of time Blizzard has not specified, tournaments will be held in all the leagues in each division. The top 8 spots in each division will face off in a tournament, the winners of which will receive prizes and will advance to higher levels of competition, such as a LAN tournament.

    Well I guess I am out of luck this being the beta and all. Although at least I could get moved up a league.

    I'd imagine be a prize for attaining ranks in the beta. Perhaps plushies, t-shirts, free copies, or ingame thingies.

    Do you think there will be any sort of Beta prizes for being in Top 8? or is that all furture stuff they are planning on starting?

    No.
    I don't think any prizes will be given for positions in beta. Simply cause not everyone has access to beta and a chance to make the torunament. I think it's all there to test for retail when it comes out.

    Yeah, I doubt they will be giving out prizes for the beta, if they even have a beta tourny.

    Maybe something small, if they reset the ladders again. A lot of people are not placed where they should be due to the most recent ladder placement only being 5 matches.
