How pissed people are about your Video Gaming life?

    http://kotaku.com/5037860/forgive-dad-he-knows-not-what-he-does

After seeing this I realized that my dad was not happy about my gamer life, but he was not THAT dangerous.

How about you family and friends how do they deal with your gaming life?
    Or
Reverse the question: How do you feel about a gamer you know that is completely addicted to video games?

    Canada, eh?
My dad is the one that got me into it.

    My mom hates it.

My sister finds it useless and annoying.

Well... recently we had a survey at school about computers and the internet... It was multiple choice so i decided to be honest, just to see how strange it came out.

Here is a few examples of things you see on my survey:
Time spent on computer: +21 hours (it sadly didn't have a high enough number so i had to choose this)
Time spent on computer for homework: Never (yeah... that's right!)

Well anyway, its my final year of school and I'm getting about a C average... My dad is worried about how i will go and tries to ban me from my computer... He is soft though and always caves on his word... hahaha... My family... well parents anyway... dislike the amount of time i spend on the computer, but i don't spend as much time as what my little brother does. He used to play Call of Duty 4 for about 8 hours a day. I used to hate it because with our net speed we could only have 1 person using it at a time... LAME!!! but now we've upgraded and i don't care how long he wastes his time for because i can also use it for just as long... :D:D:D:D

So really... my parents don't like it but I DOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Yeah, also my dad got me into gaming, even though he rarely plays himself. Maybe because when he does, he's pulling lots of all nighters. My parents never liked me playing too much, but they are rather tolerant.

    That guy's dad is hardcore

I only know two kinds of people when it's about gaming:

_People who love some types or titles of video games (RTS and/or FPS and/or RPG and/or etc, Blizzard fan, Tom Clancy's series fan, MMORPG junkies etc),

    _People who don't understand.

mine are meh towards it (i still don't get how playing online with more people than are in the building counts as being antisocial).

my dad plays d2 only, pretty much. that, age of empires, and mario kart doubledash are the only ones he likes.

my mom is not game savvy, at all.

my sis likes them, but isn;t the best. and my bro, eon, well obvioucly he plays video games, but i'm the msot extensive gamer in my family because i play the widest variety and actually finish most the games i play. AHEM *cough eon cough*

My parents hate my gaming life. But as long as I go to work every single week morning, that I pay them rent and that I have a girlfriend they seems to tolerate it.

My mom, dad, step-mom, and step-dad tell me that I play too much StarCraft. I can't remember HOW MANY times I was grounded from that game growing up. My mom forbid me from playing it when I was 16 for good until I moved out and got my own copy.

My fiance use to get mad when I would sit and play WoW all day and night [When I was unemployed--Now I don't have that luxury :p] because he said it took time away from "us". He said SC did that too.

My mom use to tell me I had a bad addiction and it was "unhealthy" XD

And now here I am today applying for a job with Blizzard because of my love for the game and my vast knowledge of it! lolz!! XD
