Blizzcon is Long over and these forums are not used as much as a result so we need to decide what to do with them. I encourage all of you to vote on the fate of these forums. The vote will be open for a week and the results will be shown afer the polls have closed.

Should We leave it open for everyone to still post
Make it read only so you can read what has been said but not post
Move the topics to their sections and close this section
Delete this section along with all of the threads inside of it.

its not doing any harm to leave it, unless the mods are going to compile all the data than it should stay open

If it is deleted the data will get compiled one of the options is to just move the threads elsewhere. Also much of this information has been posted and discussed elsewhere anyway

I don't like the way this is going. I wonder who is dciding what to keep and what to get rid of because most of it we don't need.

real mods?  Are you implying something?

I was just wondering if it is going to be SC2Forums, all the mods or just the globals

I'm implying that me and Flying Tiger only have power in BlizzCon and News, and JBL only has power in the random boards, thus differentiating us from "real" mods, AKA Global.

AH I see. That also explains how your level icon changes from board to board. So who mods the official SC2 boards?

Leave it as read-only, basically, lock it. The information's still good, and we want to be able to point to it, but there isn't enough new BlizzCon info to justify anymore active conversations about it.

Yep, i voted for "Leave It Open" but you can always keep it and only lock it, just don't delete all of it.

i say make it read only. theres still a bunch of good info here, and its all contained in one place on this board.
since blizzcon is over, any posts in the board would be out of place. hence the read only.

Actually I think the news related stuff containing information should remain here as read-only whele the general disscussion threads get moced or deleted

if we leave it open it will just become a spam forum were you can't find a decent bit of info on Blizzcon close it till the next convention so we can have a convention board instead of a spam board.
