I hate spiders as well. Most don't bother too much, but I can't stand the hairy ones that are the size of your finger nails or bigger. I kill them before they can crawl away to some dark corner of my room.

I like spiders. They kill all the other bugs that would be crawling around your house.

Now bees... that's another story. I have yet to be stung and as a result am petrified of them.

I used to hate spiders and bee's, but I got over it, and you can to!

I used to fear spiders, but then I began to read a bunch of books about them, at least 30. Now I love spiders! I even let one crawl accross my hand (poiseness, but so docile you could flick it and it wouldn't bite. Not recomended)!

As for bee's, you can get over that by eating under a wasp nest for lunch during an entire summer. Now THAT is fear!

I've read a lot aout spiders, but I still get freaked out about them. I know many aren't poisonous, or even harmful.

    *looks at thumb*

unless a spider that size is crawling up your ass, you shouldn't be scared

most of the spiders in my home are those with tiny bodies and very long but thin legs. They aren't scary at all and I tend to leave them alone.
Now the hairy ones... I just get creeps when I'm near anything that is like 100x smaller than me yet could easily kill me or harm seriously.
Honestly I'd rather be walking past a big ass dog than a hornet
I've been stung by wasps like 3 times, fortunately I'm not allergic. Also a piece of advice - I dunno why it works, but when stung mum once gave me an onion cut in half to press against the injury and it almost didn't swell (form of swollen??) at all

Do anyone of you agree that "arachnophobia" should be "fear of arachnids?"

LOL. I just asked coz majority of people agree that arachnophobia is merely "fear of spiders."

Crabs aren't arachnids. Or are they? Arachnids have 4 pairs of limbs right?

How do you classify arachnids again? It's only been a year since I last studied Zoology and I'm completely blank on it.
