Okay time for a new poll! This isn't just some thing I decided to do because I want minerals, but I really just like to know what people are thinking or doing. So I just might do a new poll every week. So, I would like to know, how many of you have created an album on your profile, or will create an album. If so, what is it about and what do you hope to accomplish with it. (As in, why did you upload those pictures?) Also, if you have more than one, state it. Thank you. Well, I have two albums. The first album I uploaded is titled "SC2 Unit Animations." It is just six but they are animated pictures of units. I just want people to see it and to admire the animations and possibly use it for their avatar or something else (if animations are ever enabled again.) The second album is titled "SC2 Units Artwork." It is basically what I thought were the best single/multi unit artwork pictures from starcraft2.com. I want people to see how much work Blizzard is putting into SC2 and I also want people to sue these pictures somewhere.
I'm planning on making one... eventually. I suppose I'll just put some (badly) photoshopped versions of famous photos or paintings, etc. Like my avi for example.
Well, what I mean is before reading my topic, were you actually really planning on getting pictures and putting them up. As in like "I want to draw this tomorrow and post it up on Friday." Something like that. If it's like "I'll make 30 pictures in 20 days and put em up after that." That is fine. Not after reading my topic and deciding you want to make it. Pleeeeaasee. No offense to you Wick.
No, I was actually planning on an album since a while ago, I just haven't gotten around to making it yet. I'll probably have some within a month or two actually.
I have 4 albums: Avatars: I've uploaded avatars that I created from not-so-common pieces of artwork, to give people an alternative to the same old ones that circulate the net. Bloaty: I created this character by mistake and out of boredom but since I could find fun postures for it, I decided to dedicate an album to it and upload 'strips' regularly, for my own and possibly others' entertainment. Site related: This is just a load crap that I want to link on this site permanently. External image hosts can go down, even if temporarily, and when a discussion is about pictures that are not available, the thread completely loses its discussion value. Pictures also load faster this way. Signatures: I upload most of my finished pieces of work here, but I'm not sure why I also create templates every now and then, because if someone wants a sig quickly done then I can just slap their name on it and it's ready. I don't plan to start a new album because these mostly cover my hobby of editing images.
