    Hello people!
New here and just got a beta key from a blizzcon2008 card
keyed it into my battle.net account and it was successfully added.
but when i play to go my client and try to login, it says no starcraft2 game associated with the account.

The client was downloaded off elsewhere but i can log into my friend's account without any issue.
I tried to use the link on my battle.net page to download the client but the install/download fails at 0%
The error message was in korean and i cant read korean....

Blizzard: please stop thinking anywhere in asia has korean as its official language... T_T

If there's any kind soul who knows the solution please reply to the thread... thanks!

Are you sure you're logging in with your correct Battle.net e-mail? You have to log in with the e-mail as your username!

If you are then you'll have to contact Blizzard Support. We've seen a couple issues similar to this one.

I had this problem, turned out I had the wrong region client installed, one I had torrented and updated, you'll have to change a certain file, I know theres a thread on tl.net I got there from google.

Yeah, um, that's why you download the client from Blizzard and open port 3724 on your router. Don't go torrenting the thing as you'll end up with problems like this.

    @ elune,

If you did torrent it, uninstall and go download the client directly from Blizzard and open port 3724 on your router, it'll DL faster.

    Hi peeps!

    Thanks for the replies.
I went around the other forums abit.
Seems there are really different versions of the client and one can just change ur region by replacing a certain file.
I have yet to be able to find that file, but i'm not concerned with that.

Apparently the best solution is to email blizz support and ask them to change ur region. ( and hope that they are feeling happy when they read your email. )

2nd solution for me would be to download a kr client.
The direct download from blizzard doesn't work for korean client for me somehow... i cant decipher what the error says either...

all in all thanks for the help! hope i'll be able to play on the US server again. its really fun when i play on my friend's account.
