BlÆÆÆÆ. I am so nervous. I have a math one, and a constitution one.

Has anyone here ever taken these tests before? If so, how did it go?

I've took the GED test about 3 years ago, there is no need to worry really. I found it to be quite easy, just remember the usual, rest, stay calm, eat a good meal. If you come to a question you don't know just save it for later, it may come to you at a later time. Good luck.

The GED is a test that, once completed, proves that you have a high school education. Even though it says you have a high school education from what I've witness some colleges don't like people who have GEDs.

The General Educational Development(GED) is a test to prove you have the equivalent of a High School education, without actually passing 4 years of high school.

The reason some colleges don't accept GEDs is because you didn't have to take all the corses in high school to get it, so some colleges don't see it as equal to an official graduation; and in some other schools, those with official graduations get priority over those with GEDs.

I see, thought it was something like that since dark doesn't go to school iirc.
Well, without 4 years of people hammering you with proper ways of solving this stuff, I imagine it could be hard.

One of the things I hate about education (at least where I live) is that it's far more oriented about tests than knowledge. That is, they teach you how to pass tests so you can get to another school and then pass more tests, instead of actual practical knowledge. Sure, it's still there, but feels like a second thought to tests that only prove your capability of passing them and little more :/

I'm not looking to get into college, I need it to find and keep a better paying job.

After this, I will legally hold the same qualifications as a high school graduate.

I did go to high school Meee, I just didn't graduate.

You expect to get into college considering you're homeschooled? (and that you can't even spell college?)

And 96.7% of all random percentages are made up.

Sorry Light but that what Hayden351 said is true, people who are home schooled are known to be more book smart while people who went through public school are more street smart. The GED though doesn't mean you are any less smart, but people are still iffy of it. Heck in order for me to go to college I had to write them a paper saying why I had to take a GED and why I deserve to go to a college, even though all the other people applying that had high school degrees were immediately accepted.

Uh...actually, if that is the case, all it shows is that there is a serious problem with the education system of your country.
