Our generation traditionally doesn't get out there to vote. We want to change that this election. We want you to get out of your chair and GO VOTE! We won't tell you who to vote for, so whatever you support, whatever you believe, just get ou there and make your voice heard.

There are lots of issues at stake including ones that can affect you as a gamer, so make sure you get what you want for the next few years.

Here are some helpful websites that will make it easier:

Canivote.org - Helps you figure out if you're registered, where you're registered, and where and when you can vote.

Candidate Calculator - Helps you determine your best matched candidate by issue.

This thread had no title about ten minutes ago. Why is that?

Can't vote, but anyone mind elaborating on the issues raised? Didn't really understand a fair few of them and didn't have time to look into each of them in-depth.

Why a front page article? It's nowhere near SC, Blizzard, game related.

Most things in life become wearn off (not sure about the word though) when you use them, but for democracy, it becomes wearn off when you do not.

This is my first time voting in a major election, and I am glad it is almost over. So much campaigning gets to be rather annoying.

I don't care much for those candidate calculators, since they will only tell you which presidential candidate most closely matches your views, when there are often many other items to vote on, such as state and local candidates and amendments. I think it is more useful to do actual research on the ballot choices to decide how to vote.

    So true.
I live in CT, we are pretty damn blue. Our votes really don't count. Our 7 electoral votes are going to Obama.

Last time I voted was for Ned Lamont against Joe Lieberman. We won the primary but not the general, ****.
