http://www.smh.com.au/news/home/technology/meet-the-son-of-segway/2009/04/07/1238869976524.html thank gawd this will be hitting the streets cause walking to my car in the morning is too much of a chore. Seriously tho.. this is suppose to be designed for cities.. which is like the few places in USA and the world where people get good walking in. Releasing this is just a huge step down.
what if it is raining, or snowing ? I use the freeway each day. this can't be for high speed. Just for city as you mentioned. Well .... we'll see if it is a success
Looks fun. I could use one of those to drive to school since no freeways are required. Then again, it looks easy to steal so it probably wouldn't last a few weeks
. Theoretically a world full of segways and things like this would be great for cities. It will just take a while for them to catch on...
Rob Derek will defiantly be having one in his fantasy factory....He already has that cool little car.... He had it in white.... If I got anything like that,...before the first day of me having it my parents would get a phone call saying I died in a accident or I'm in jail...LoL
I'm glad it looks like someone else noticed it to. Maybe that's where the concept came form. Some guy in GM was playing Starcraft and thought the SCV would make a good vehicle.
I am looking for this vehicles name. Anyways, the PUMA looks interesting, but we all know how much of an impact the revolutionary Segway had (not much). It would only be useful in urban areas though due to its low speed and 30 mile operating radius. Probably won't go very far.
