and i thought about doing it about kinds of fantasy, i have written the main part, with all the information, could you read it for me and say what you think, or point out any mistakes i have in my information

obviously this isnt the entire presentation, and i still need to add an introduction and ending, plz tell me if i made any mistakes

    High Fantasy

High fantasy is one of the best known kinds of fantasy, including famous works such as lord of the rings by Tolkien. High fantasy stories take place in a world with epic conflicts between good and evil, and a high fantasy world usually contains recurring mythical races such as dwarfs, elves and trolls.

    Historical Fantasy

Historical fantasy takes place in a world that is very similar to ours, though sometimes in a different time, but features differences that make it part of the fantasy genre, such as magic and mythical monsters. High Fantasy and Historical fantasy exclude each other because one takes place in a complete fantasy world and the other one takes place in a world that resembles reality.

    Superhero fantasy

another well-known genre of fantasy, superhero fantasy features people with extraordinary powers or abilities, such as the x-men or the justice league. Superhero fantasy is always a sub-genre of historical fantasy, as the story always originates in a world that is supposed to be earth.

    Sword and sorcery

Sword and sorcery is a fantasy genre that takes place in a mythical world, but in contradiction with high fantasy, the story doesn't feature a war between good and evil, but rather a hero who fights for his own personal gains, such as acquiring spoils of war or marrying a rich princess. The best known example of sword and sorcery is the renowned Conan the barbarian series.

    Science fantasy

Science fantasy blurs the line between science fiction and fantasy. In Science Fiction the plot derives from technologies that are not yet invented, but in Science fantasy the plot resembles a classic fantasy theme, while there are also technologies present that are yet to be invented, such as faster then light engines or laser weapons. The best example of Science Fantasy is star wars.

There is also a kind of Science fantasy called sword and planet which resembles a mix between Science fantasy and Sword and sorcery

    Fairytale fantasy

the fairytale fantasy separates itself from the other kinds of fantasies by using motifs and referencing mostly Celtic legends. Fairytale fantasy is usually a sub genre of either High fantasy or Historical fantasy. Most Fairytale fantasy stories are retellings of old legends.

    Dark fantasy

Dark fantasy stands for fantasy that has grittier content then the usual idealized fantasy worlds, often containing elements of horror and representing the brutality of modern-day society

    1. "in contradiction with" ~> "as opposed to"
    2. Don't contract - this is a serious paper.
    3. subgenre
    4. After "including famous works such as" I'd give two examples separated with "or", but that's not a hard-and-fast rule.
    5. it's weird seeing you type properly.

Fantasy is not an ideal subject to bring into a social situation.

    Trust me.

Fantasy is largely seen by outsiders as 'out of the norm' or 'nerdy', Imho, **** their opinions.

But no, its really not a good idea to talk about scorcry and wizards etc in social situations, classmates will be like "wtf".

However, im talking from the POV of someone in a kinda rough area, it may be completely different where you're from :D

i take it you have to do a genre study and chose fantasy?

IMHO the paragraphs should be linked somehow like "[...]purely fantasy world as opposed to historical fantasy, which[...]" just to make it flow better and read less like a list.
