What're your guys' plans this year?

Going on my last trick-or-treating run for life this year. It'll feel weird.
I've already sketched up a design for my Master Chief costume. I need some help though.
What kind of paint can I use that won't flake off or scrape off (easily, I can understand losing paint if I brush against metal) when used on cardboard? How exactly am I going to pull off the helmet? What can I use for the faceshield so I can see through it easily?

Anyways, I hope I get those answered but it just isn't about me, post your traps, ideas, and Halloween fantasies here.

Real quick, you could use ski goggles for the face plate.

Me and my buddies, depending on how many of us are gonna hang are either gonna be the Village People or Spartans.

I was going to try teenaged Spartan but I think classic (MJOLNIR) Spartan is easier.

I might try and convince other guys to go as Spartans or we could go as a loose group costume, Video Game characters. I was talking with one of 'em and he said he might be Kratos. I'd love to see that.

Village People would be epic. You'd have to grab a CD or two and a battery stereo and play it randomly in your city.

I started making my "SUPER HAPPY MAGICAL NINJA WIZARD GNOME HEAD DUDE" costume today. Me and my 3 buddies are all making similar costumes. Our costumes include pointy hats, ski masks, goggles, capes, and robes. We are going to pwn

I had two ideas, I was either gonna put on military combat camo and put on a rice picker hat and say I'm "Back at 'Nam" or I was gonna put on a poncho and wear a similart hat and say that I'm a gaucho ;D

We have no idea what we're doing this year yet, but last year, my buddies and I went to a party dressed as Super Heroes. One was Cyclops, one was Marvel Girl, one was the Flash, etc. I honestly believe mine was the best, but it's sort of dragged down by the fact that he's such an obscure hero. I give you...

The In-Betweener! (Creative name, huh?)

Anyway, I'm not bald, so here's how this went... left side of my hair was black, and right side was white.
Switch it for the head.
Switch it for the neck/chest/arms (Black arm gets white nails, white arm gets black nails)
Switch it for the shirt. I did this by just folding two shirts in half (Open dress shirts, to get the tunic effect that the real In-Betweener has) and safety-pinning them together.
Switch it for the shorts (This was much trickier. I put my black soccer track pants on, then put my white judo pants on one leg, I then folded the other leg back up into the track pants, and safety pinned it inside.)
Switch it for the legs
Switch it for the shoes.

And no, I did NOT have that much leg showing. I did my hair with standard dollar store hairspray. Parts of my body that woouldn't be touching anything, like my face, were done with black and white facepaint, and parts of my body that would be touching things, like my chest and hands, were first done with light facepaint, then coated with hairspray. It worked surprisingly well, and only cost me about 20 bucks.

My shower the next morning was hilarious.

And now, I'm off to bed. I'll come re-post when we know what we're doing this year. We're leaning towards Simpsons characters, but I'm not so sure I'm too keen on that.

-Itsmyship-
You just want an excuse to wear a rice picker hat, don't you?

P.S. If anyone plans on having anything "special" happen on Halloween night, please don't use the In-Betweener costume. You look like a total dolt when you're naked. unless you wanna go full body. Actually, just don't.

I am just waiting for someone to dress up as a Big Daddy (from BioShock) and take their little sister (or daughter) out as a Little Sister... I am sure someone will...somewhere. I can't wait to run into it on the internet.

As for myself? No real plans.

I would do it, but my sis wouldn't go along with it. She'd work perfectly though. Danish blood=Pale skin, long blonde hair.

That's just hmm

Last time I dressed up for Halloween was a few years ago. I went as death using the same scream costume from the previous year minus the mask with the hood forward enough to cover my face.
