Hope you all had a wonderful thanksgiving! mine was delicious and really.. kinda boring. but that's ok Little Known Thanksgiving fact: The day of thanksgiving actually didn't come from the pilgrims and the indians themselves. Although they did feast together early in American history, the day actually wasn't set aside until the civil war. Abraham Lincoln made a proclamation that the last thursday of November should be set aside as a national holiday. But later, FDR changed it to the 4th thursday of november, from pressure of businesses who wanted to allow more time for christmas shopping. Share that tidbit of information with someone.
