Amazing thing about Warcraft is an Aethist can believe and play in a World created by man. That is it wasn't just a fluke or "Big Bang" but created by software developers. Yet when they see the stars and the world around around them which is incalculably more complex the aethists write it off as random chance.

Its an unknown, assuming that it was 'created' as if some kinda creator was responsible is just as foolish.

In respect to playing in worlds... Well, yeah, but with that kinda POV you cant rule out Matrix style thinking either.

    Yay Religion rant! I'm in.

The key flaw here is that an atheist doesn't believe. Belief is not a requirement for something to be real. Unless you can't prove its existence.
I play WoW and I don't need to believe in it. I know its a ''real'' virtual world made by Blizzard.
The universe, we don't know who created It.. we don't know If it was even created in the first place, so the logical thing to assume is that we just don't know. Saying ''OH I KNOW GOD DIDIT IM SUPERSMART YOURE A NUB'' Doesn't exactly help. Its a pretty lazy approach imo. Just because you don't know the answer to something doesn't mean you can fill in the gaps with an invisible being. And I dare say... any other theory makes alot more sense. Heck, even aliens makes more sense. At least aliens have a chance at being real. An Immortal immaterial being doesn't sound too plausible to me.

Yes. Because World of WarCraft is a direct parallel to real life.

That's a very deep question, when you say our, are you saying mankind as a whole? I have to disagree if that's the stance, for God though loves mankind, hates sin. Man by his nature is sinful, thus God hates mankind. God will destroy the world and all those in it.

fyi, athiest dont say the universe was created by 'random chance', most ppl who say they do are creationists trying to downplay athiest's ideas about the world. I cant remember what they say it is, but they dont like when people say they think it's random chance.

I dont see any religious text worth reading literally. Am i really supposed to believe that Noah's flood didnt kill off all the vegiation on earth since they were all underwater for 40 days, miles below the surface(light doesnt reach that far), and that there was enough alive to sustain the herbavores left for years until new plants grew? What about the carnivores? Would they have had to kill the other animals get enough food to survive, unless enough dead fish was found?

I do admit, it would be epic to ride a dino like a horse though :D

Quote from Life of Pi by Yann Martel (A biography):
-"He became my favourite teacher ... I felt a kinship with him. It was my first clue that atheists are my brothers and sisters of a different faith, and every word they speak speaks of faith. Like me, they go as far as the legs of reason will carry them-and then they leap."

The point being that irregardless of whether or not a god or holy spirit/being is present, every man can recognize the world as boundless and lead a moral lifestyle. Except for agnostics:

-"I'll be honest about it. It is not atheists who get stuck in my craw, but agnostics. Doubt is useful for a while. We must all pass through the garden of Gethsemane. If Christ played with doubt, so must we. If Christ spent an anguished night in prayer, if He burst out from the Cross, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" then surely we are also permitted doubt. But we must move on. To choose doubt as a philosophy of life is akin to choosing immobility as a means of transportation."

Wait, you mean that if someone can't decide wether there is a god or not they can't live a moral life?
