I order this laptop on eBay, but i contact the seller to say that my address was wrong in a few minutes.

    We cancel transaction.

I check for refund, paypal says refunded but my checkings account doesn't seem like it has been refunded. WHY??

I can't buy thelaptop again ucz it was over 1000 and my paypal said spending limit of 2000, before i verify it. the thing it, i cant verify my paypal:
I made it last night, and it cudnt auto-verify so it sent 2 payments to my bank account, but it takes 2-3 business days.
    WTF!!
    What can I do?
Why does my bank account not show a refund?

If Paypal shows a refund, I wouldn't worry. The same way it takes time to transfer money from your bank to paypal, it takes time to transfer back. If after 2-3 business days your checking account doesn't show a refund, I would contact Paypal by phone and talk to them.

If your overdrawn on your checking account and need this money asap, I would call your bank and explain the situation to them. My bank (pnc) has been cool with situations like this and wavies the overdraft fee.

Hope this helps, keep us updated.

    Thank you!
No, I have not overdrawn, but it seems strange to me that it would take 2-3 business days, instead of an instant transaction. Do you know why this is so?

Actually, from thinking about it, you have to request that Paypal sends all the funds back into your checking account.

From your main page in paypal, mouse over "withdraw" and then click "transfer to back account." Type the amount in the box that comes up, then select the account you want to send money to, and click continue. Follow the directions from there.

Sorry for the confusion mate, I just forgot that Paypal keeps money in it until you tell it to do something with it.

It says my balance is $0 in PayPal.
    But I'll try anyways...

    *a few minutes later*

My withdrawal limit is $500 a month. -.-
I need to confirm my bank account and credit card.

    *a few more minutes later*

Okay, luckily I instantly recieved the 1.95 from PayPal to confirm my credit card.

So I still need to confirm my bank account.

"Once you have checked the 2 deposits we made into your Chase account, please enter them below. This process helps ensure that you are the owner of this bank account. The deposits show up on your bank statement about 2-3 business days after you linked your account."

I have to check my Checkings Account to see this correct (The confirmation for my credit card was there too)?
I tried to confirm bank account 2 nights ago, but I never received the deposits.

    so Questions:

Why is my PayPal balance $0?
Why do I not see the 2 deposits that PayPal made to confirm bank, but I saw the deposit for confirmation of credit card?

Thanks so much for helping! :D

Contact Paypal. Explain the situation to them and they'll help you out. It's weird, maybe the money is taking time to go from his account to yours, but I'd contact them regardless.

I'm not familiar with Paypal specifically, but electronic refunds in general can take at least a few days to post, sometimes as much as two weeks (i.e. 7-10 business days). I wouldn't fret until that much time has gone past if Paypal has a notification that your refund has been recognized.

    This is my history:

Nov 26, 2010 Transfer To Credit Card Completed -$1,273.95 USD $0.00 USD

Nov 26, 2010 Refund From Colorado Computer Outlet LLC Completed $1,273.95 USD $1,273.95 USD

Nov 26, 2010 Payment To Colorado Computer Outlet LLC Refunded -$1,273.95 USD $0.00 USD

Nov 26, 2010 Transfer From Credit Card Completed $1,273.95 USD $1,273.95 USD

Shouldn't this mean that my Checkings Account (My credit card) gets the +1,273.95 from my refund?
