Any of you know how I cite a source inside of a paper? I think it's (*Author name*, pg#) but I'm not sure.

This should cover just about any citation method you will ever need:

I think what Fenix needs isn't there. He needs the format to put in his text, not at the end of it.
No idea about the answer though. Probably yours is correct because the paper isn't solely the cited person's work so you can't put the title of the paper nor a publication date. Maybe <author> <article title>? Because a set article can appear in several papers so it's the article title that counts, not the page number (which would vary from paper to paper).

@Aurora - No, it doesn't. I know how to make a works cited page. I mean actual in-paper references.

@Kuvasz - Well...My teacher went over it last week. She specifically mentioned the page title, I figured it was a proper form of citation and whatnot.

Probably the APA method is what you are looking for.

Actually, we're doing MLA for the Works Cited page, I think I'll do that in the paper itself

Oh, I thought that one resembled your example the best. But if you use MLA for the rest, you should probably use that in the paper itself as well. Meh, glad I could help you out. A helpfull communtiy is a healthy community. Just look at other forums, people bash each other all the time, and the forum dies.

Reminds me that I still need roleplay regulations for the new board. That needs to be done first.

ATTENTION! Anyone who has any experience with role play, and knows where to find a good basic set of guidelines, please post them in space junk. I will get the thread moved over for further editing. YOU WILL GET CREDIT. Eternal fame, as all role play people here see your name as a contributor.
