e^(x*i)=i*sin(x)+cos(x) ~ One of my favorite formulas because it involves i's and it actually useful in the physical world.

in which case the square root of a root undoes the root, so it'd be 5, if that's what you need.

 

no, the answer would be the square root of negative five

 

((-5)^(1/2))^2 = -5
